Information you provide
The form asks for your name, email address and city or province. You may also provide a business name or buying interest, timing and a brief message. We store whether your inquiry concerns buying or selling, its source page, your agreement to be contacted, a submission reference and the submission time.
How the inquiry is used
We use your submission to review and respond to your inquiry. We also keep technical records to prevent duplicate submissions and manage email notifications, including notification status, attempt times and the provider’s message reference. When notifications are enabled, the notification includes your inquiry details and email address and is sent through Resend to Clarity’s designated recipient. A copy of that notification is stored with the inquiry. Inquiry details are not displayed on public website pages or included in the sitemap.
Protecting the form
To help prevent spam and repeated submissions, the website uses your email address and, when available, your IP address to create protected identifiers for rate limiting. The rate-limit records contain these identifiers, request counts and time windows, rather than the raw email address or IP address. Your email address is separately stored as part of your inquiry. Hosting providers may also process technical request information to operate and secure the website.
Website services
For this website, Vercel provides hosting and Neon provides the PostgreSQL database. Resend processes inquiry-notification emails when that service is enabled. These services may process information outside your province or country. Contact Clarity with questions about the services handling your inquiry.
Keeping and managing inquiry records
The inquiry form does not automatically delete saved inquiries. Related copies may also be held in notification email and service backups. Contact Clarity to ask about retention or request deletion.
Optional analytics and your choice
Where analytics are enabled, the website asks before loading Google Analytics. You can allow or decline analytics without affecting your inquiry. We record page visits and whether a form was started or an inquiry was successfully saved. These events identify the public page and, for inquiry events, whether the inquiry concerns buying or selling. We do not send form names, email addresses, business details, messages or inquiry references to analytics. Page addresses sent by this website exclude query strings and fragments.
If you allow analytics, Google receives technical visit information and uses first-party analytics cookies. The website’s analytics configuration disables advertising signals and ad personalisation. A browser-session marker helps avoid counting the same saved inquiry twice; the inquiry reference used for this check is not sent to Google.
Your analytics choice is kept in your browser for up to 180 days; browser privacy signals supported by this website keep analytics off. You can use Privacy choices at the bottom of the page to change your decision. Withdrawing consent disables further collection and removes this website’s analytics cookies; it does not erase data already collected. See Google’s privacy policy for its practices. When analytics are disabled for the site, no analytics permission prompt or Google tag is loaded.
Share only an introduction
Do not send financial statements, employee or customer records, account credentials or other sensitive business documents through this form. Agree a suitable process with your advisors before sharing them. Submitting a form is not a confidentiality agreement or an instruction to market your business.
